Servant and Leadership Training
The SALT program is designed to help equip teenagers with leadership skills through hands-on service and mentorship at ETC. ​It's more than just serving at camp—it's about being trained, equipped, and challenged to grow as a follower of Jesus and as a leader.
Lord willing, each SALT participant will grow in responsibility, teamwork, and faith as they help facilitate all camp actives. ​​

Program Requirements:
-
A Christian – Demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

19-20 years - those who've completed the final year as a camper and want to grow as leaders.

Local Church - Actively participating in a local church community.

Known by us – Must have an established relationship with the ETC team.

Next Steps - Completed the Year 1 "Essentials" of the Next Steps program.

Leader Trainings – Participation in our June and July leader meetings, plus our Leadership Bootcamp (two-day leadership training) right before camp.

Obtains a Strafregisterbescheinigung (Criminal Record Certificate) – Required for working with minors in Austria.

Program Expectations:

Living an above-reproach lifestyle – Demonstrates integrity and godly character (Eph. 4:1)

Maintain a servant-hearted attitude (Phil. 2:3)

Be punctual and reliable in assigned tasks (Col. 3:17)

Engage with campers and encourage spiritual growth.

Follow camp leadership and guidelines.

SALT participants are an essential part of ETC moving forward, ensuring camp runs smoothly while developing their own leadership and faith.
